When the public pages are opened, the web server processes technically necessary connection data, in particular IP address, time, requested URL, HTTP status and technical browser information. The search function uses the entered query only to filter the catalog. Queries may appear as part of the requested URL in technical server logs.
The public pages use no analytics, advertising or tracking services and set no optional cookies. The protected administration area may use technically necessary session and CSRF cookies.
Purposes and legal bases
Processing serves secure delivery, troubleshooting, abuse prevention and operation of the search function. Unless another legal basis is stated, the legal basis is the legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where statutory retention duties apply, processing is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Recipients and retention
Technical connection data may be processed by people or service providers involved in hosting, server operation and maintenance. No data is disclosed to third parties for advertising or analytics. Log data is deleted when it is no longer needed for these purposes unless a statutory retention duty applies.
Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
